The Georgian Industrial Group hosted San Diego State University (SDSU) graduates. Several years ago GIG signed a memorandum in which the business, based on social responsibility, started to financially support young people wishing to pursue education. The Group has fully funded four-year bachelor’s programs in computer science, computer engineering and chemistry for three students.
This year, after Ani Gverdtsiteli, Mariam Bikashvili and Mindia Gegelia graduated from the San Diego's internationally accredited bachelor’s program. The graduates shared their plans for the future with the donors: where they plan to continue their studies and start working. It is worth mentioning that the first GIG scholarship recipient was Ani Gverdtsiteli, the European School graduate with honors. She successfully completed her computer science course and was employed.
